Every morning we when Zane and I wake up, he eats breakfast and then we snuggle up and watch cartoons for a little bit. Usually I'm in control but now that he's almost 18 months, he's starting to have a mind of his own. Rather than Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Zane decided that he would like to watch Secret Agent Oso "pwease". How can a mommy say no to that? Haha. So I left Oso on. Now there's really nothing wrong with the show, I just think it's boring. So as we sit here and watch a stuffed bear figure out things like choosing whether to wear flip flops, slippers. or boots in the snow, I'm reminiscing on my favorite shows from my childhood. Here's a peek inside my mind this morning.
Fraggle Rock
I'm still a big fan of this show. Zane and I watch it often on Netflix. The reason I love this show can be summed up with the lyrics to the theme song, "Dance your cares away, worry's for another day. Let the music play, down at Fraggle Rock!"
Inspector Gadget
I loved going on exciting adventures with the clumsy Inspector Gadget. Who didn't love this show? I can still clearly hear Doctor Claw threatening, "I'll get you Inspector Gadget....next time!"
Bobby's World
Such good memories of this one. Anyone who has ever seen it can recall Bobby's active imagination that made his typical suburban life full of adventure. And of course we all remember his mother's heavy accent, "don't cha know!"
More to come, Zane's ready to play now. :)
